Yes, you can pre-book a session on the website to guarantee a place. If you decide to show up on the day, please bear in mind that we are a cash only event. Please check the website and our social accounts that your chosen day hasn't sold out before arriving to avoid disappointment.

We use school halls for our events, as they provide the perfect smooth, flat surface for indoor skating.

To bring the disco atmosphere to life, we add great music and vibrant lighting to create a fun, feel-good vibe for everyone on the floor.

Of course, if you have your own skates bring them. For insurance purposes, we will need to inspect them and make sure they are safe and suitable for indoor skating i.e., non-marking. If we deem them not suitable, we will provide you with a pair of our skates.

The £8 fee will still apply whether or not you use your own skates.

Yes, due to venue capacity limits (150 people in total), everyone entering the event requires a ticket.

Your £8 entry includes skate hire, so you’re very welcome to join in on the fun too!

Yes, of course! We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend arriving around 30 minutes before the session starts to make sure your whole group gets on the floor together. We have a total capacity of 150 people, so please get there early.

We stock a wide range of sizes and do our best to cater for everyone. If we temporarily run out of a specific size, we’ll offer the closest suitable option. For adults, going one size up is usually perfectly comfortable. Our children’s skates are adjustable, so we can fine-tune the fit on the day.

If we genuinely can’t find a safe and comfortable solution, we’ll either refund your entry fee in full or reserve you a place at a future session, whichever works best for you.

For the time being, we are a cash only business. As we get going, we may introduce contactless payments. We will update our website and socials when this comes into effect.

For now though, please bring cash with you for the entry fee.

Yes, Yorkshire Roller Disco is fully insured. We have public liability and full roller disco cover.

Yes, we will always have a level 3 emergency first aid trained member of staff on site, and we have first aid boxes on site too. As with any physical activity there is always a slight risk of injury. To prevent this from happening as much as possible, we have helmets and wrist guards available for children (limited availability). You are advised to bring your own helmet if you have one.

Yes, we have DBS checks. We make this clear that we are the activity provider only, and parents are responsible for their children at all times.
